The closed cycle refrigerator provides low temperature environments (10 K and below) by re-circulating helium gas through the Gifford-McMahon thermodynamic cycle. These systems are simple to operate and maintain.

The refrigerators are available in two configurations:

• Sample in vacuum (cold finger)
  optical, non-optical, compact and sub-compact designs
  
• Sample in exchange gas (top loading)
  optical, non-optical, compact and sub-compact designs
